I cannot tell you either way, Jim, but since the Lucent bid Octel's stock has maintained a very tight trading range of a half dollar or so. If you bought in the teens, then you should consider the profit in terms of annual gain. That's how I base my sells. Octel returned for me nearly 100% gain in six months which is another way of saying 200% for the year. Even with capital gains this is far better than any CD or savings account will give you. <G>

I personally think there is a real chance that the stock stays right where it is for the near future. Even with the high valuations--which in many cases are anything but--there are plenty of other companies out there. For my money, Octel stock is presently a stagnant--but not offensive--pond.
