Did you ever think that the media adheres to its audience in that they provide news/entertainment to "where the people actually live" - mostly in and around large, metropolitan cities. Therefore -- a rural perspective, which is historically far, far more conservative is not given the time/energy that it deserves. Its not that the media is liberal -- its that the media is geared toward the mainstream listener/audience. FOX News followed the very same script that WAL-MART did in starting to serve the otherwise underserved rural, ruburban, semi-rural consumer that can't get "what they want" conveniently. This is a slight oversimplification, but it hits the mark well enough. -JH
