The complicating factor here is the notion that there are two (or perhaps more) individuals involved. My argument against banning abortion has always been a libertarian one. This is way to complicated and controversial and personal and belief-driven to create detailed rules. People can make up their own minds whether an embryo or a fetus is a person and what their situation is and handle their pregancies accordingly.
