You must have just loved these announcements by osama bin lost. In other words, they talk that way, so we can talk that way too. The reasoning of a 4 year old. We're supposed to be unlike them, remember? When an American in uniform exercises his rights to free speech or freedom of religion, it is a story only if you are bigoted, prejudiced or believe US military personnel have no rights. The public comments of a public official are a legitimate subject for public discussion, in or out of the media. Can you think of any particular reason why that should not be the case? "My God is bigger that their God" is an idiotic thing to say, no matter who says it. I expect idiocy from Osama and Co. I expect a little better from our side. Maybe my expectations are too high.
