From your posted article per George Soros, re: "Mr. Bush "deliberately fosters fear because it helps to keep the nation lined up behind the president."" For this to be true, Bush would have had to have deliberately fostered 911. I say this because, without 911 there would have been no actions of war in Afghanistan nor Iraq. 911 happened, and Americans simply have and likely will continue to support this war which President Bush early-on suggested publicly may take untold years in many far off places. If the enemy is not poised to act in the terrorist fashion witnessed on 911, if Sad Dam Who's Sayin'(TM) hasn't supported nor salivated over committing acts such as 911, and if this all doesn't justify going after the breeding grounds in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere where oppression of citizens just happens to co-exist, I'll eat my hat. It is justifiable self-defense. Let Soros not create a higher authority than the law of self-defense. Let us not oppress, nor defend where there is no threat; let us end oppression so obvious that virtually all sides discussing it here recognize and abhor it, in the process. Dan B.
