China would do well to link up with Sasol, using SSL's GTL technology to convert their native coal deposits into a viable alternative to imported oil. If anyone can fund the capex for large GTL projects, China can, with incredible cost construction advantages.

That was about the only original thought I had while scanning Yardeni's stuff. I didn't see ground shaking revelations in the study.
