Mish's Household Tip O' The Week
Well this happend a bit ago but I do not think I reported on it yet.
It has to do with sealing your driveway and painting your front porch.

Now to the average person, it might not seem to matter which one of these you do first. But once again if you are plagued by raccoons the order can be important.

Here is the order I did it in.
1) Sanded and Stained the front porch
2) Had the asphalt driveway sealed

If you do it in the order that I did, this is what might happen:
Raccoons come out and walk in the fresh coat of asphalt sealer, then proceed directly to the front porch and leave a trail of impossible to remove racoon tracks all across the front porch.

Fortunately they are in a straight line (a single racoon) so it could have been worse. Now if you are into racoon "artwork" then by all means do the work in the order that I did.

Otherwise, if you are plagued by raccoons, possums, marmots and all kinds of other stuff living under your front porch, even seemingly unrelated tasks might have a preferred order to them.

This concludes yet another Mish Household tip o' the week.
