I bought 20 contracts of Aug 65 Calls. (Laugh if you must) today at
1/8. I'm going to Peru for a week and I put in a sell order good till the close friday for 2.25. If I lose $250. I'll survive, if my order
is filled I'll have 4500.00 waiting for me when I get home.

It is amazing how the media (aka CNNfn, CNBC, WSJ, etc) change there tune so quickly. AT&T was trash 3 weeks ago and KO was the stock of the century. Bonds were heading for 5.25% and all the indicators were "as good as it gets". Now, the long bond is heading for 7.25% (no f-ing way!) and the UPS strike means that unions are going to take over America again.

Then they say you can't make any money being a short term investor. The only reason that is true is because they are idiots at reporting short term trends. They give you history, not relavant commentary.

The PPI and CPI are going to be great (again) the bond yeild will drop to 6.25 or lower and the dow will be up +300 points this week.

(Hows that for a prediction?)
