Now Glenn, I would never think you would have beer in immoderation. Your posts are always so courteous and gentlemanly.
50 lbs. Very young children can become ill from drinking beer, some children even a little beer. But by 50 lbs, around 3-4 years old for most children, most children's body chemistry can handle a half glass or less.
I dont think they like the taste though.
Honey is another one, actually, for children under two, under around 35 lbs, honey can make certain children very ill. I dont know why. AFter that age or weight its fine for them. It all depends on weight more than age.(The honey one is more dangerous than the beer one because they DO like the taste and may keep eating it.)
Of course everyone's body chemistry is different. I had a friend whose baby cried a lot and was not gaining what the doctor "thought" she should. So he took the baby off breast milk (which on analysis was found to be very skim for that woman) and the baby became violently ill. It turned out the baby was allergic to fat! Hooray for nature. Unfortunately it was too late for the breast milk, it had dried up. My friend had to get a very expensive formula and was very very angry at the doctor. So body chemistry differs, for little ones and of course for us too.
More than you wanted to know!!!!
Happy investing!
