I agree. Without getting graphic in a family forum, I can think of a number of things that could have caused or at least contributed to her endometritis or toxic shock syndrome--if that indeed was the cause of her death--which would not be related to the drug she took.

I would also add that one of the drugs included in her therapy is commonly used (and has been for more years than I can remember) to accelerate labor and help women deliver normally rather than by cesarean section.

I would add here that well over 20 years ago, morning-after pills were provided to rape victims. I wish I could remember the name of the drug. I remember that patients were told the drug was only marginally effective but better than nothing.
