Kerry came off as a clown, driving onto stage on a motorcycle. Trouble is that he didn't seem to know how to park the thing and struggled with the kick stand. He was wearing blue jeans that were creased and looked like they had never been worn before along with a spiffy clean leather bomber jacket. I could swear I saw the price tags hanging from the inside lining as he struggled to find a proper manly position on Leno's sofa chair. Then he had some lame joke about the Red Sox changing pitchers in the 8th inning in response to Leno's question about his staff resigning. Nobody laughed. It was so bad that it was sad.
