My theory is pretty basic: Back in summer of 2000, while everyone was cheerleading stocks, the smart money was moving into bonds. Buffet even announced that's where he was putting his money. Welllll this time around, bonds aren't the place to be, so even though the public is still fixated on stocks, the smart money is going into foreign currencies and precious metals. Chris
