the entire China thing is really interesting.... I keep having this image of literarily MILLIONS of former peasants becoming consumers... thanks to all those manufacturing jobs ... my, my... a few pennies profit in whatever gadget and voilá.... the $$$ rolls in.... best of it... (in the case of cars)... there will be this attitude of Nouveau Riche and buy buy buy the craziest gadgets... I mean... fuzzy car covers....... extra wide rhims.... tires... headers (exhaust systems), you name it... I ought to talk to some of the whiz-mechanics and set up a shop for souped up cars in Shanghai.... that would be a fun venture... Shanghai Grand Prix (next year) here I come.... -ggg
