la-

new mexico is doing just fine.
even our republicans here are
conscientious and slightly tolerable.

you must remember gore was not too
impressive in 2000 and bush was lying
out his ass about what he'd do in office.

maybe he wasn't lying. perhaps he just changed
his mind about his agenda after he appointed
and was enlightened by his 1970's era advisors.

we have since elected bill richardson as governor
(whom we've found to be a bit more
washingtonDCpoliticallysleezy than we like).
we're hoping he'll get selected for VP or
some other washington cabinet position so
the lovely diane denish (lt. gov) can take
the rest of his term as governor. she'd make
a great one.

NM is definitely a blue state for 2004
because even many of our fine out-numbered
republicans will not vote for bush again after
what he has done to hurt and betray us in so
many ways.
