AO MOSENERGO creates a corporate system for automated processing of documentation 29.10.2003 ã. The decision to set up a single automated documentation processing (ADP) system for AO MOSENERGO was taken in the summer of 2003. According to the plan, the system would be installed in 21 subsidiaries of AO MOSENERGO. The main goal of creating such a system will be to speed up the process of decision making on the managerial level and communicating these decisions to all branches and divisions of the company. This system would also enable AO MOSENERGO to efficiently control, as well as timely and properly implement these decisions. The backbone of the ADP system is Delo-Predpriyatie, a software solution offered by a Russian company Electronic Office Systems (EOS). AO MOSENERGO has been using EOS's products since 1998. At that time, AO MOSENERGO implemented EOS's ADP system at its headquarters. Aiming to set up a single ADP system for the whole company, last May AO MOSENERGO switched to the new version of Delo-Predpriyatie which makes it possible to employ all available features for processing electronic documents. Today, all departments and services at AO MOSENERGO, as well as 13 branches use the advantages of the ADP system. The number of users of the ADP system has gradually increased. By now, this product has been installed at 350 work places. By the end of the year, the number of ADP-equipped workplaces is expected to reach 500. The creation of the ADP system is part of the program for developing a corporate information and control system (CICS) at AO MOSENERGO. CICS will enable the company to automate operational, financial and economic management at AO MOSENERGO.
