Well said, Gore: "We have a deranged president. We have despotism. We have no due process"

The Dem leadership blithely yawns, with minor sheepish comments occasionally.

Dean's the only one expressing at least a little anger, such as that felt by the unions, who see the facts and aren't afraid to organize. Every time an insider like Gephardt or Kerry express how miserable things are, they get spanked by the GOP, and take it like good little boys.

It'll be interesting to analyze why the 30-hr GOP effort was initiated by Rove on the judges. Besides the unending lies about how Dems are filibustering for the first time in history, etc., they get their mugs on CSPAN continuously for a complete news cycle. Do you suppose that's timed to coincide with Bremer's rapid return and bad news?

It's also testing whether the GOP can hijack the CSPAN channel into an all-GOP channel anytime they wish. The last time I saw such blatant hijacking of CSPAN was July 10th of last year, when Ashcroft made a news conference on old news of the so-called 'dirty bomber' from 10 timezones away, to coincide with the noon coverage of the 911 Family National Press Club event sponsored by www.unansweredquestions.org with Michael Ruppert et al. Ashcroft was in Moscow, no doubt catching up on new fascist techiques from the masters of violent crowd control.
