Senetek PLC Appoints Vice Chairman

NAPA, Calif., Nov. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Senetek PLC (Nasdaq: SNTK - News), www.senetekplc.com , today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Director Anthony Williams as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors in addition to his role as Chairman of the Compensation Committee. In this new position, Mr. Williams will coordinate the contributions of the five non-executive Directors who form a majority of the seven member Board and be their interface with Senetek Management, as well as working actively with Management to support and enhance its initiatives in shareholder relations and corporate governance.

Mr. Williams joined Senetek's Board in February 2003. He is a Corporate Partner at Coudert Brothers LLP, the New York-based international law firm, specializing in mergers and acquisitions. During his thirty year career with that firm he has served as Chairman of its Executive Committee and Administrative Partner responsible for its worldwide operations, and has formed important relationships in the pharmaceuticals industry in the course of his involvement in numerous major transactions including the Boehringer-Manheim/Hoffman LaRoche merger. Mr. Williams is a director of RAG American Coal Holdings, Inc., DBT America Inc, Trautman Wasserman & Company Inc., IE Holdings, Ltd., Brook Capital Corporation, Plymouth Holdings Limited, River Ventures, Inc., Fenn Wright & Manson, and the German American Chamber of Commerce.
