Yes, but by your logic, Saddam's "people" (Sunni Arabs) probably represent only about 15% of the Iraqi population - so that would mean that the rest of the Iraqi population (>80%) were "his enemies", and not real Iraqis? re:"Yeah, Saddam gassed the Kurds and the Iranians, but they were hardly his people, they were his enemies. I don't know who started that he gassed his own people, but that truly is meant to be inflammatory. The only way they could be thought of as his own people is that they resided in the internationally recognized borders of Iraq. "
