Jim:

The pros and cons are really based on the mathematics of selling or tendering. E.G. If you tender, you get $31.00 cash without paying commissions----or 31,000.00

If you sell at the current price of 30.25---you get 30,250.00 less the commision paid to sell---proceeds are then a little less than $30,000.00. The tender date is August 29th---two weeks away.

I do not know how soon the tender amount becomes payable---if immediately then the 31 k looks okay. If funds received later, then you may want to sell and put the $ in something now to establish a new position and perhaps a more lucrative one.

As for me I am tendering as I am not in a hurry to establish a position in another stock.
