Mr. Deaver returned the calls, possibly without having read the preceding note. An article is appearing in Crains Business, with a Canadian broker quoted as saying that the firm is being run almost like a hobby. Perhaps said broker wants to needle our heroes into action, or wants to manipulate the stock price for short-term benefit, or (gasp!) is reporting honestly. Deaver says that there have been developments and that further word on those developments will come soon. I hear you sigh. But I'll tell you why I think better times are coming. The firm seems to have pushed the recent annual meeting from June to July 22, and I surmise (no proof of this) that part of the reason was to have something to say about contracts. Days before the meeting, Mr. D said that he was about 6 weeks behind schedule. We are speculators. We have heard mention of Ford, Wyerhauser, even Georgia Pacific. And now a further hint of .... something. I speculate (merely speculate) that if you are interested in buying more shares, now is the time.
