I'm afraid you are little unclear on the concept. To say that France was coddling Saddam makes you look foolish and inordinate sycophantic to the silly fashions of nonsense-spouting radio talking heads. France was trying to protect its contractual interests, first of all. And unlike every word that comes out of Bush's mouth being a lie, we can more or less take Chirac at his word that he wanted to give inspections more of a chance, and what the heck is the problem with peace, anyway?
