Do you believe the next reserve currency will also have to attain that title through the same process? That Eurozone has to import loads for the EUR to be a reserve currency?

I am not so sure. It seems to me that all that is needed for EUR to rise AT LEAST into a basket of reserve currencies is for the USD to fall from grace. EUR is the only other major currency suitable for the job.

Now you guys can go to Walmart and load up on cheap consumer crap and European luxury goods knock offs like we've been able to do for years!

Err... I certainly hope not :-)
