Politicians want us to breed at an even faster rate. They offer tax incentives etc. Failing that, immigration is encouraged to beef up the numbers.

This policy is like the borrow and spend mantra. And, it comes from that necessity, because somebody has to pay for the future costs of debt and old age. Somebody has to keep up our standards of living.

So, be a good citizen......do your part. gg
