Rather than reading the constitution directly, have to look at the actual debate the occurred regarding constructing that part of the constitution. The debates centered on whether to give the judicial selection power to the Senate directly or to the President. After plenty of debate it was decided and recorded outside the text of the Constitution to give the power to the President and allow the FULL Senate to approve via an Up/Down vote. For 217 years thats how it has been done until Schumer and Schumerism took over, whom I strongly suspect to be a communist who's true evil interests lie elsewhere. Changing the rule is whats right even if that allows Dems while in power to more easily put their president's appointeees on the courts. Thats how the system is suppossed to fairly work.
