President Bush never said the war in Iraq was "over."

OK, I'll grant you all that but the main thrust of my post wonders why we have to suffer this foolishness:

"Has everyone already forgotten the original estimates were that this war will last 20-30 years."
Of course they have...
Particularly (for the dems), if it is politically convenient to do so.
