George, the reason I stick around is to see what the sales are in a few weeks in regard to Raptiva. I think DNA can probably tell you the uptake with GREAT accuracy. I also think for now they are pulling the old rope a dope in regard to Enbrel. Why agitate Amgen??? Why not even say they are a GREAT competitor with a GREAT product while you are busy gutting them??? You and I have see this in marketing all the time. I have NEVER seen McDonald's saying derogatory things about another's hamburger. BTW, how about the mystique surrounding the next indication picks........are they about to license something and they don't want to spook the price paid for license or collaboration???? What IF it is a cocktail trial for HIV infection????? Have you seen my recent posts about Dedrick???? I have posted evidence of their diligence concerning research in the marketing and insurance areas. Add to that the psoriasis survey that I posted that stated over 80 per cent of those surveyed with psoriasis had insurance that covered meds. Remember also the 75 soldiers that will be deployed by DNA!!!!! Just my opinion but I think the initial sales will literally SHOCK and AWE most wait and see folks......................just like the enrollment of almost 3 THOUSAND patients in the trials. I would imagine those almost 3 THOUSAND have friends or are members of support groups for the psoriasis afflicted. I doubt there are very many moderate to severe psoriasis challenged who haven't heard of the FANTASTIC results of the Raptiva trials. Now the serono trial.....why let Biogen know about it now?????? I wished that would of stayed under the radar. George the string puller is DNA and Serono. This is the BEST show in town right now in my opinion. Then again a great show wouldn't be great if there wasn't a chance for the whole thing to be a flop. And YES INDEED the whole thing could be flop. Now where is the POPCORN?????LOL
