Falling volume is a corrective attribute. If the trend is rising while volume is falling it is not bullish.

Not true. the answer is "it depends."

Stock charts on Ascending Wedges (a bullish continuation pattern) says
stockcharts.com

Volume: As the pattern develops, volume usually contracts. When the upside breakout occurs, there should be an expansion of volume to confirm the breakout. While volume confirmation is preferred, it is not always necessary.
