I pay a shitload in taxes -- and I don't mind -- that is the difference philosophically. 53% of my tax dollar goes to the troops in Iraq -- am I not a patriot?

I see my dollars as being useful to the community at large. You on the other hand, in truth, could care two shits about your neighbor who may not be doing as well as you in life. Your OK with a handout as long as YOU control exactly where it goes and exactly to whom.
