Unemployment ticked up yesterday and growth ticked down today. COuld be the "sugar rush" is over. And still no jobs. We hope there are, but the "Mission Accomplished" self-congratulatory spin on the economy by the GOP last week or two was very premature. Also, economists see inflation rearing its ugly head and coming as soon as next spring. That means interest rates back up which means the real estate bubble will burst. 2004 may not be a good year at all for the economy. Plus another 500 billion in debt.
