When the U.S. Army was "teaching" the Philippines all about the American Way, 105 years ago, the imperialists discredited themselves, when they were brutally honest. So, for instance, when American Generals were quoted, giving orders to kill all males over the age of 10, during area sweeps of guerrilla strongholds, it opened people's eyes. This is the weakest link, in our imperial foreign policy: Americans need to think of themselves as the Good Guys. We are more idealistic than other nations, and therefore need to engage in more self-deception, when we do evil things.

So, I think it's great when the yahoo knuckle-draggers talk about "killing all the towel-heads". It helps make things clear.
