Bushies tried to ruin the Clinton economy with their phony energy crisis and budget-busting tax cuts, then take credit for turning back around 3 years later drowning the country in deficit spending. Something like that. They basically have tried to erase Clinton from history as the most successful economic president in history. Calling him "Derelict" and blaming 9-11 on him too. But people remember. Clinton had things running great and was very engaged. Their whole "Clintonr recession" line is total BS. There WAS no Clinton recession. It started in March 2001.
