WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT®
:o)
"The government does it that way."

ok, but but but...
For example you have a file called MY_DARK_SECRET.TXT
on a floppie with great cheese cake recipes, and another person,
say a semi-friendly like Mother-in-Law :o) whom you balck-mailed
into making all these cakes for you will do so after you give her
that floppie.
ok, So you edit that file and replace every letter with the # character.
(example)
My real name is The Big Leboski
(to)
######################################
now,
Oops if the Windows or DOS filesystem decided to "move"
where this MY_DARK_SECRETS.TXT file is.
as in,
It allocated new space on the floppie,
and while you acces it using the same filename,
its location is different,
and while the old locations are "freed up" to be used,
they will continue to contain your real name until later
if and only if you modify the floppie in writes or edits
that cause it to use them locations.
sooooooooooooooo
BEWARE
(plus)
Before eat'n any mother-in-laws cheese cakes
she made ONLY for you...
do like New York City BIG rats do when a new food is found,
... eat only a very small piece...
... wait 10 minutes...
... if you are still "ok"... enjoy
:o)
