Hondas and Acuras could become hugely popular and successful in China. It's the best, most reliable, and extremely durable car. My 1988 Accord is still humming with 285,000 miles in it, and 30-33 miles per gallon depending whether it runs on winter or summer gasoline.

American cars tend to start breaking down near the 100,000 miles. I used to have a Dodge and a Ford and they both gave me headaches and flattened my wallet after 4 to 5 years. A friend of mine has a Ford pickup with low 25,000 mileage and one day the drive shaft just cracked while sitting in his garage. The truck had not been driven for a week, just sitting idle in the garage and the drive shaft broke by itself. Already out of warranty (over 5 years), so Ford just said "too bad".
