Hi list, I'm trying to change the IP address on my company computer from DCHP to static. When I go to network and Dial up connections and right click on Local Area Connection, all the options (Install, Uninstall, Properties) are grayed out. This is the case for all components used for this connection. I'm running win2000 and I have Administrator privileges for the IBM thinkpad. Unfortunately I didn't build the box and I'm unclear which settings might be used to disable tampering with the network properties. Any ideas?? Kind regards...
