Not to beat this horse to death, but the UPS (make that teamsters) strike has me a bit cautious too. Where I work, for years now, wages have been flat, and promotions nonexistent. It's like it or leave. The only people getting ahead are those who own stock. If I weren't making money in the market, I'd be pissed. Work has to count for something when investing returns so much. Not everyone has the free free cash to "play" the market. Eventually, like you say, there has to be some balancing out. The time may be coming soon. Which means the bull may be moving toward pasture.
