Remember re: iraq--we are foreigners too. The Shia have given us a window to be there. Iraqification is a bit late. The French may have been right about this and this may be a way to approach UN/Nato to internationalize the effort. Internationalization of the effort may carry some weight among iraqis in terms of turning over miscreants. All this talk of US exit strategy makes ordinary iraqis nervous because they will be the ultimate victims of cut and run. Mike
