The Bush-Dean alliance is troubling since obviously the Bushie motive is to beat Dean in a landslide and lock down one-party rule for four years. The Dean campaign is impressive but also reminds me of Nader's in 2000. Those Naderites were so cock-sure that they were right so they ignored reality. They could have kept Bush from winning but they prefered to make a protest point against "the establishment", which turned out to be wrong and only helped the worst part of the establishment, the right-wing part.
