I'm sure the Southern racists never thought that Plessy versus Ferguson would be overturned either! "NEVER EVER" is a quite a long time to make a prediction! Plessy versus Ferguson took 58 years to be overturned! It took several generations for the country to become "enlightened enough" to realize that segregation was immoral and wrong. If Roe versus Wade follows the same historical pattern, it will be overturned in the year 2031.
