Would that be Bush, Bush, Carter, Nixon? I'm surprised JFKs not on the bottom of your list. After all, he almost started WWIII, he tried several times to assassinate the leader of a sovereign country, Bay of Pigs, steel tariff-induced recession. He diddled a lot of ladies, gave great speech and advanced civil rights but when balanced with the fact that he started the Viet Nam War and did more to stoke the Cold War than anybody I place him right above BabyBush.

I think Nixon did more for peace than any other president. He made Johnson's mistake of trying to win the Viet Nam War with Linebacker I & II by trying to bomb them back into the stone age but came to his senses and got us out. Then he & Henry proceeded with détente and the summit meetings with the USSR and China and his personal visits there. Nixon brought down the Berlin Wall and precipitated the collapse of the USSR and the capitalist-induced downfall of the Chinese communist party. Watergate was his big mistake and I can't defend that but I can say that the world is a much better place now that my children don't have to wake up having nightmares about Mutual Assured Destruction like I did during JFK's reign. Although with the great diminishment in the eyes of the world Bush has caused we're in for decades of trouble.
