You can rest assured these statistics are tailored to the company. JLS will say they have the lion's share. REmax the same. And Windermere, well you already know...
The FRANCHISES, which are independently owned and operated, of Windermere and JLS(they have several satellite offices) have done a wonderful job of setting offices that are specificlly designed to cater to their client, the AGENT. Maybe the agents need to get together and bitch about this anti trust thing. With so many company choices, I can only laugh.
The consumer has plenty of choices with whom they decide to do business with.
It all depeds on what market segment we are talking about, Cendant has no visiblity with C21, although Coldwell Banker does exceptionally well. ERA, well not so great. Windermere and JLS will battle their claim to market share based on sales, based on sales per agent, based on certain locations. It is my contention and has been for some time, I don't care what they do collectively under one general name. I am more interested in what the agent will do.
Control? Oh my, look dude, this would take a long conversation for you to understand this business... I think you have a clue, but not all the clues. |
