You know all of these memogate stories are non-starters. Imagine politicians acting like politicians. That's what they do.

The policy of Bush is pre-emptive unilateral war. The policy of the democrats is a broad multilateral approach to the war on terror that includes the rest of the world. That's the major policy difference in a nutshell.

When intelligence is used as a justification for a pre-emptive unilateral war, and when that intelligence appears to have been trumped up, then it is imperative that we take a hard look at the intelligence and how it was used.

I see noting offensive or traitorous about the memo by Rockefeller, nor the memo by Gillespie. They are simply examples of the right and the left fighting for their viewpoint. That's what happens in a democracy.
