And later more reporting, from the same "well placed" source:

10. The Director of Iraqi Intelligence, Mani abd-al-Rashid al-Tikriti, met privately with bin Laden at his farm in Sudan in July 1996. Tikriti used an Iraqi delegation traveling to Khartoum to discuss bilateral cooperation as his "cover" for his own entry into Sudan to meet with bin Laden and Hassan al-Turabi.

Al Tikriti and a number of high ranking Iraqi officials are in custody. Isn't it remarkable that they have to use anonymous sources to report on all of these "encounters"? And isn't it remarkable that, despite the high ranking prisoners, they still don't have any WMD or AlQueda information they feel comfortable releasing through open channels? And isn't it remarkable that this memo would finds itself in the hands of the official neo-con propaganda rag? This has the same credibility of the rest of the "intelligence" they used to take the country to war and is particularly formulated for gullible fools like you.
