News reports that the Defense Department recently confirmed new information with respect to contacts between al-Qaida and Iraq in a letter to the Senate Intelligence Committee are inaccurate.

In other words, everything here has been seen before. We had all this at the point in time that Bush said there was no evidence of a connection between Iraq and 9/11. It wasn't evidence then, and it's not evidence now.

Of course, you're welcome to believe NewsMax over Bush if you want to. Far be it for me to argue that Bush wouldn't lie about our national security.
