To gain useful accurate information from the internet is indeed most difficult. There was a time when I believed whatever newscast was presented, on radio or TV, and if an error was committed, they would be sure to correct it, or so I believed at the time. No deliberate attempt to mislead, no obvious agenda.

Today it has all changed. Even our mass media has an agenda, and one must be very careful to pick through this biased information overload. However, there is a problem with doing that. If one discounts all information which we perceive to be say biased or a spin or even untrue, we then fall into the trap of only accepting information which agrees with our own prejudice. And the truth may well be lost on us. It is quite a balancing act.

So, like you, I read a bit even from sites that I know have an agenda but with increased skepticism. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. (Unfortunately, almost everyone tries to fool me more then once). gg
