Here is the Reuters article I was citing. I'm not a statistician, and you're free to point out any misinformation you feel they've provided. The U.S. Army's start date for the Vietnam War has been set by its Center of Military History as Dec. 11, 1961. Presumably another date would produce a different comparison -- is that the basis on which you're saying it's "misleading"? reuters.com Do you happen to know whether the US military is making any estimates of civilian casualties to date in Iraq?
