A lot of people are fed up with the politics surrounding judges. Maybe what is needed is an up or down vote. I'd like to see the rules changed. Maybe you could have senate hearings to air the record. Then an up or down vote with a 2/3 majority for approval. That would ensure that judges would be selected from the middle of the road, and end this silly fillibuster stuff. I haven't followed the Brown nomination closely. But clearly the reason for her not being met with approval has nothing to do with her race. It has everything to do with her record. Orca
