"Al Qaeda continues to receive funds it needs from charities, deep pocket donors, and business and criminal activities, including the drug trade," it said. "

It is too bad so much money is being spent on Iraq, draining off vital money we could be using all over the rest of the world to fight real terrorism. It would certainly behoove us to consider the decriminalization of drugs, since terrorists are using it for financing. Perhaps we will finally get a practical and logical solution, under the banner of emotional reaction to terrorism? That would be a great thing to come out of this, imo. We will save money at home, since we will be able to let out those non-violent drug "criminals", and we will take the profit out of the drug trade. That's a twofer, at the very least.
