That is Bushie BS about trees causing forest fires. Dry conditions alone don't give timber companies an excuse to mow down healthy forests. Nobody is against brush trimming or dead tree removal near residential areas. Those are the danger areas. But this isn't about those two items.

Bushies use fires as a vile, deceptive excuse to let the timber companies in to cut down perfctly healthy forests. The timber companies don't want dead trees or dry brush, they want big old healthy trees, many of which are immune to fires. And the Bushies are trying to give them carte blanche to cut them down.

You should be ashamed for repeating their BS. DO you work for a timber company PR office or do you just believe everything the Bushies say? Check out how much money the timber companies have given the Bushies to make up this nonsense.
