OT Tobacco and alcohol are legal and very profitable. Whatever your opinion about drug use, there's no reason to think legalization would "take the profit out of the drug trade". You'd be able to buy your Swisher Blunts with the weed already in there - no need to pry it open along the convenient seam they put on 'em and stuff the weed in yourself. You could cut out the black kid in the army jacket on the corner and buy everything you need from the Pakistani guy behind the convenience store counter. There'd still be profit involved.
