Hello Pezz, Today’s Report:

I decided to and did do the almost unforgivable. I sold my worth-less Sinotrans at HK$ 3.55/shr, for a 3.4% loss, and sold my worth-more TravelSky at HKD 8.10/shr for a 11.72% gain.

My aggregate net gains of the not-unworthwhile but certainly not-so-related pair-trade is in the high 6.x% over 10 days elapsed time.

But, gad or yikes, so much for rebuilding my untimely-depleted China portfolio ;0)

It just simply is not feeling right, in the US and the Asian/China markets, which just means it is time to trim sail, adjust the rudder, batten down hatches, and find the life jacket, making sure the survival beacon is functional.

Chugs, Jay

Hello Pezz, Afternoon Report:
I have started to rebuild my untimely-depleted China portfolio:

Purchased a tranche of Sinotrans finance.yahoo.com at HKD 3.675/shr. It is the ex-monopoly courier service now in league with DHL, servicing oodles of business clients; and

Purchased a tranche of Travelsky finance.yahoo.com at HKD 7.25/shr. It is the de-facto monopoly reservation system, serving growing domestic and outbound international traffic of folks.
